Medical Director, Dr. Elena L. Jones Dermatology
Dr. Elena L. Jones MD, FAAD
Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Elena L. Jones is a board certified dermatologist. She graduated from Wellesley College and Georgetown University School of Medicine. She trained in pediatrics (she is also a board certified pediatrician) at New York University Hospital/Bellevue Hospital and then, in dermatology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine.Dr. Jones has apprenticed under some of New York City's best dermatologists. She was an integral faculty member at the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital's Skin of Color Center. Subsequently, she served as director of their Dermatology Clinics. In that position, she realized her passion for teaching Dermatology residents and for serving her community. Presently, she is attending in the Pediatric Dermatology Clinic at Weill Cornell Hospital. She has been in private practice for over 20 years, and proprietor of her own practice for the same amount of time. Dr. Jones has shared her medical expertise in lectures, medical journal publications, legal case reviews, magazines, radio and television interviews.
She has co-authored chapters in medical texts and has served as Suave Skin's dermatologist for 2009. She is the Chief Dermatologist at Pharrell Williams skincare line, Humanrace. Dr. Jones is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of both The American Society for Dermatological Surgery and The American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Jones also serves as a mentor to many up and coming dermatologist in NYC. Dr Jones continues to be excited and encouraged about the ever- evolving field of dermatology and enjoys her daily interactions with her patients of all ages. She looks forward to serving all of her patient's skincare concerns.
Medical Assistant
Linda McFaline
Linda Mcfaline is a certified medical assistant. Dr. Jones met Linda more than 20 years ago when she was a student rotating through the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospitals's, dermatology department. Linda is smart, compassionate and passionate about Dermatology. She has been more than an integral member ( Dr Jones’ right hand) since the start of the practice. Look to her for a hand to squeeze, a listening ear or an extra set of trained eyes to help with procedures or navigating insurance company medication concerns. Dr Jones often jokes “ when Linda retires, I retire.”
Medical Receptionist
Lisa Houck
Lisa Houck, our Medical Receptionist, is new to the office. She brings with her years of office and managerial experience. She is calm, compassionate, precise, bright and diligent. Look to her for all of the scheduling, billing and “ how may I reach Dr Jones” concerns.
